the-first-app-we-built-was-one-for-improving-crew-to-office-communications--the-office-operation-control-team-used-a-web-page-to-submit-important-events-such-as-if-a-replacement-pilot-is-required-for-fill-in-an-empty-spot--that-communication-is-immediately-communicated-via-push-notifications-to-all-pilots-and-cabin-crew--the-latter-can-then-respond-and-initiate-communication-from-the-app--the-app-includes-a-visual-indicators-showing-the-number-of-responses-per-signal--as-well-as-information-of-which-messages-they-have-reviewed-and-which-not--that-information-is-also-being-reported-to-the-control-center- mobile-roster secondly--we-implemented-a-mobile-roster---an-app-that-every-pilot-and-cabin-crew-uses-to-get-information-about-hisher-flights--hotel-transfers--on-and-off-duty-days--the-mobile-roster-is-integrated-with-the-backend-flight-system-and-provides-information-about mobile-efb-electronic-flight-bag the-last-mobile-app-we-build-the-first-2-years-was-the-efb--the-efb-is-an-app-that-provides-the-documents-needed-by-the-pilots-during-the-flight---such-as-safety-manuals-and-other-instructions--the-app-is-part-of-the-paperless-cockpit-vision-of-primera-air--the-app-works-in-an-offline-mode-when-the-plane-has-landed--the-new-documents-are-synced-via-wi-fi-connection-to-their-onboard-ipads--with-this-app-we-needed-to-push-the-boundaries-of-the-ios-by-implementing-challenging-background-sync-logic-and-by-extending-the-out-of-the-box-functionality-for-pdf-reading-with-bookmarks-and-night-mode-viewing-by-adaping-the-light-of-the-device- years-2014-2015-mobility during-2014-and-2015--primera-air-wanted-to-focus-on-the-development-of-mobile-apps-that-improve-the-efficiency-of-the-pilots-and-the-cabin-crew- pilots-flight-reports the-next-app-we-build-allowed-pilots-to-fill-in-their-flight-reports-directly-from-a-onboard-ipad--rather-than-to-fill-them-in-in-a-paper-format--the-report-allowed-pilots-to-report-the-details--the-type-of-delay-and-to-report-and-classify-the-reasons--the-app-allows-pilots-to-taking-pictures-with-the-ipad-and-attach-them-to-their-flight-report--the-reports-then-go-through-an-analysis-workflow-process-that-allow-for-preventing-measures-to-be-taken--ultimately-help-the-airline-to-improve-its-on-time-performance- passengers-satisfaction-app we-build-a-mobile-app-that-the-cabin-crew-hand-over-to-passengers-to-capture-their-feedback-regarding-the-flight--the-passengers-rate-the-service-and-also-provide-suggestions-and-recommendations-for-improvements--the-mobile-app-is-integrated-with-the-backend-bi-platform-of-primera-air--allowing-detailed-analysis-and-reports-over-the-customer-feedback- lastly--we-improved-the-work-of-the-technical-personnel-by-building-a-mobile-app-for-reporting-of-technical-defects--the-app-is-similar-to-the-pilots-flight-regulations-and-timely-resolution-of-reported-faults---yet-this-report-focuses-on-problems-with-the-defective-airplane-components-and-their-respective-key-parameters-at-time-of-defect--the-report-is-quite-comprehensive-and-includes-significant-amount-of-data-collected-per-each-defect-to-enable-easier-identification-of-the-root-cause-and-for-execution-of-the-right-corrective-measures- years-2016-2017-migration-to-office-365-and-comply-with-new-safety-regulations migration-to-office-365 with-the-launch-of-office-365-by-microsoft--primera-air-wanted-to-take-the-full-benefits-of-the-cloud--besides-that--they-wanted-to-get-a-new-and-modern-design--aligning-with-web-trends-so-we-migrated-their-intranet-to-the-office-365-cloud-we-did-a-face-lift-of-the-portal--also--primera-air-expanded-the-use-of-the-portal-to-other-companies-in-the-same-group--greatly-increasing-its-value--all-mobile-apps-we-built-were-migrated-to-azure---utilizing-all-the-benefits-of-going-to-the-cloud- cabin-crew-reporting during-2015--we-have-built-a-few-apps-that-improved-the-life-of-the-pilots--in-2017--we-have-another-similar-project---jet-this-time-to-make-life-of-cabin-crew-easier--for-this-purpose--we-have-automated-the-process-they-report-information-regarding-any-problems-connected-with-the-onboarding-service--the-passenger-welfare--group-operations--meals--rooms-and-any-other-equipment-onboard--as-usual--as-the-plane-has-landed--that-information-is-submitted-to-the-hq-for-analysis-and-problem-resolution- comply-with-the-new-safety-regulations
